Kitty's Reflections of Frank at Christmas 1997

From all our family, thanks so much for your words of concern and support,
and thanks, too for sharing your appreciation of the special ways that Frank
touched your life!
 

Words            Words sent out  in love, compassion                       with hope, - the hope of communication -  Just words.             Each carries a burden,                        laden, weighed down  yet the burden is not heavy as we know heaviness.             Its burden is light, warmth, love.  Your words have not erased our pain-                        but make it bearable.  Your words will not bring Frank back to the life that was,            for we know that he no longer lives with us here                                   in this world  He has moved on.             Where is he now?  A part of him lives in our lives              in the very fiber of our being    in our hearts -            And you have said                       that he lives in yours!  For this we give great thanks!

Slipping beneath the water  Closing over  Deep, deep into the darkness  Lost in the wet dimness  But behind are ripples  Circles wending away  Outward, ongoing  Changes in the surface  Moving onward, outward  Until the find the shore  Or are lost in the wholeness of the river, the             stream, the ocean.  But having been there    the wet deepness is never the same.  For the resonance has changed the whole  which becomes a new being  Taking cognizance of his presence  Forever new because he was there.
