One of the last roses of the season from our pretty salmon rose bush

We have three or four of these orange butterflies floating through the lantana garden almost every day.

Some of our fish, happily active because it's feeding time. The little one in the lower right was a tiny baby when we moved in.

Close-up of this year's baby fish. The calico is named "Vermicious Knid" (Google it) and the black ones swimming below him are all called "the Venoms" since we can't tell them apart. The Venoms and maybe Knid are supposed to turn orange eventually.
