Mom's portrait  - In 1962, Mom had her portrait painted by Bjorn Egeli.  Mr. Egeli was a Norwegian-born painter who became quite famous, painting presidents, generals and other leaders.  See her with her portrait.

Linda's mural - My friend Linda Cole is a talented artist.  See the mural she created for the Mt. Bethel children's area, which is now called "God's Zoo".

Short Cruise - Frank and I went on a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas with Mom and Steve to try out crusing.  It was the first sailing of a new Celebrity ship, the Azamara Quest.  We had a great time.  Lots of pictures.

New feature - Joke of the Day.  I get a new joke almost every day as part of a small email list.  I have started posting them at the link above.  It's a mixed bag, definitely worth checking out.  If the sender lets me, I'll put his name on it.

Drew has a new home - he and two friends are renting this newly-remodeled house in Decatur.  Moving day was Oct. 20.

I just posted some pretty pictures taken in our garden.  Beautiful butterflies, colorful flowers and happy fish.  Also a few pix of Drew and the dogs.

We had a nice visit with Darcy and Tess, daughters of Donna’s cousin Bruce and Frazier while in DC   We also have pictures of all four of my brother’s kids.  If you are family and want me to email them to you, write me.

Donna’s niece Ashleigh became Mrs. Chase Carlson on Friday, October 5 in DC.  Lots of Adams family members were there – see them all in these pictures.

Happy Birthday, Frank!  Drew and his friend Derek spent the day cleaning out our garage (hooray!), and John joined in at dinner time.   To top it off, the Red Sox won!

Dad had a great time fishing in Lake St. Clair in Canada in early October.

Blast from the past – I organized the pictures from our special 2003 trip to the Canadian Rockies into an album.  John and Chris were 13 and 15 at the time.  Check it out for memories and breathtaking scenery.

Our new house, finally!  Tour our new house as we are about to move in, and compare it to how it looked when we bought it.  There are also pictures of the garden in full bloom and before-and-after shots of the kitchen remodel.  We moved July 23.

Dad's Large Smallmouth - Read Dad’s report of a great fishing trip on the Potomac, and see him with his prize catch.
