Don Adams (aka Ham) was a football star and student body leader at the University  of Maryland.  Eleanor (aka Miel) was the sweet young thing from Delmar, Maryland who stole his heart, and held onto it for over 60 years. 

In addition to raising three children and building Adams-Burch, they enjoyed world travel and playing Russian Bank.  They made it to every continent, and almost every state in the US. 

Miel loved her family, and took wonderful care of us.  She was an accomplished seamstress, lace artisan, and gardener.  But we remember her most for her wonderful comfort food.
